Jet Stiffler, President & CEO
Jet has actively been involved with Process Safety Management (PSM) since 1995. She started the company following the PSM Standard becoming law in 1992. Early on, she led a dynamic team that developed Mechanical Integrity Programs at several major Houston Refineries and Chemical Plants. Importantly, her team worked closely with the OSHA South Houston office personnel to ensure they were meeting all requirements of the OSHA 1910.119 standard. She became actively involved in the Ammonia Refrigeration Industry in 1999 to help facilities successfully implement the EPA’s Risk Management Plan (RMP). Since that time, she has dedicated her successful career to providing competitive and dependable RMP and PSM compliance services to the refrigeration industry. Jet has successfully owned two PSM companies, the most recent being JS Compliance, which she established in 2015. She continues to be very innovative and creative in developing robust PSM and RMP compliance programs, ensuring you always receive cutting-edge guidance.
Don Hodge, Instructor
With over 20 years in the food processing industry—including a dedicated decade focused on industrial refrigeration—Don Hodge brings a wealth of practical insight and technical mastery to every single training session. His strong foundation in Quality Assurance, Safety, and thermodynamics naturally led him to the classroom, where he’s been instructing since 2018. As a certified RAI professional and trainer at the NH3 Training Center, Don specializes in critical refrigeration systems, boiler operations, and Process Safety Management (PSM). Therefore, his teaching style is deeply rooted in real-world application, successfully helping elevate safety standards and operational excellence across the entire industry.
Donnon Tragethon, Instructor
Don Tragethon has served as a highly experienced instructor in ammonia refrigeration since becoming a RETA member in 1988. His profound commitment to education is clearly evident through his leadership roles on RETA’s Certification and Education Committees and numerous conference presentations. A proud recipient of the RETA Guy R. King award, Don functions as a pivotal professional trainer at NH3 Training Center. Consequently, he dedicates himself to delivering top-tier training informed by decades of vital industry collaboration. He received his RAI credential in 2017 and currently chairs the RETA Education Committee, reflecting his ongoing dedication to quality instruction.
David Egger, Instructor
With over 25 years of hands-on experience in the ammonia refrigeration industry, David brings unmatched expertise across the full system lifecycle. This comprehensive knowledge spans from initial design and construction all the way through long-term maintenance and daily operations. He is a recognized authority on regulatory compliance, possessing deep knowledge of IIAR, EPA, and OSHA standards. David specializes in optimizing industrial refrigeration systems through safe operations and preventative maintenance, helping your facilities stay efficient, prepared, and fully compliant.
